 Dear Colleagues,

As you may, perhaps, be aware that the Forestry Training Project (FTP) is currently being implemented at the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehra Dun with the financial support of the UK Department For International Development India (DFIDI),. MoEF has the over all coordination and monitoring role on the project. M/s TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) are appointed by the DFIOI as the Management Consultants on the Project

The FTP comprises a number of tasks and preparation of an ‘IFS CV DATA Base’ is one the tasks. Management Consultants have designed a CV Format in consultation with the Ministry and IGNFA for incorporation of full, complete and up to date CV of all the Members of IFS on the DATA base.

The IFS CV database will become available or a new web-site that is under construction and will shortly be up and a to all the users. With the IFS CV becoming available on the web, individual officers will be able to update their CV at their convenience. In order to maintain confidentiality each officer will be able to go on to the system through a officer specific password.

Till the system does not go on the web. the Management Consultants (TCS) have been advised by the Ministry to despatch a copy of the CV Format to all the IFS Officers. You are requested to fill and return the format to the Management Consultant — addressed to Mr. A.S.N.Murti, Consultant (FTP), TATA Consultancy Services, 4e Floor, Gulab Shavan, 6-Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi —1100 02.

As the task on hand is time bound you are requested to extend your cooperation and transmit your CV to Mr. Murti at TCS with utmost urgency.

PS: Since the project is aimed at placing CV of al the IFS Officers on the Web, please/make sure that all IFS Officers in your State Cadre have furnished information to the MC as per the ‘Format’ which can be duplicated. The Format can also be obtained from Shri ASN r thro e-mail - ASN_Murti@delhi.tcs.co.in.
